It’s a step you add to the promotion, and it sends automatically on every new entry. SMS rules from carriers are strict, so we’ve started with this single high-value trigger and are expanding to more promotion events (like winner notifications) over time.
Consent is captured when a participant opts in on your entry form, and every message carries opt-out language. Replies are handled automatically: STOP unsubscribes a number and suppresses future sends, START re-subscribes, and numbers reported as disconnected by the carrier are dropped. You don’t have to manage any of this manually — staying compliant is the default.
Texts send from pre-approved, compliance-reviewed templates — the requirement carriers place on application-to-person SMS. This keeps your campaign on the right side of carrier registration and message vetting.
Not yet. SMS is outbound and transactional — it sends a confirmation when someone enters. The one set of replies we do act on are compliance keywords like STOP and START, which are processed automatically.
