What the Revup MCP server does, and where it stops.
It is a connection between Revup and your AI assistant. Connect it once, and Claude, ChatGPT, or Codex can build and edit promotions in your Revup account and report on how they did, without you opening the dashboard.
Claude, ChatGPT, and Codex, plus any other assistant that supports a remote MCP connection. Revup publishes setup steps for all three, and connecting takes an ordinary sign-in rather than an API key.
Giveaways, contests, instant win, purchase promotions, forms, and surveys. Your assistant sets the content, rules, prizes, bonus actions, form fields, colors, fonts, layout, images, and dates, and it can duplicate a promotion you already ran.
A few things. Promotions are created in English, so other languages are set up in the builder. Purchase promotions still need their store integration connected, and instant win still needs its prize allocation set, both in the dashboard.
There is no separate publish step. Creating or editing reaches the public page right away, and the promotion's schedule still controls when entries open and close. Ask your assistant to check readiness and send you the preview link before you share it. A readiness check looks for missing setup, not legal compliance, so your official rules still need your own review.
No. Reporting comes back as totals only, with no participant names and no exports. Your assistant also cannot pick winners, send messages, or take payments.
No. Your assistant makes the image, or you supply one, and Revup brings that file into your account library so it can go on the promotion. Revup checks each file and accepts PNG, JPEG, WebP, and GIF.
Two things. If someone changed the promotion in the dashboard first, your assistant's edit is refused instead of applied on top of it, so your team's work is never quietly overwritten. And if the same request is sent twice, it returns the original result rather than creating a second promotion.
You choose the Revup account and approve the permissions when you connect. New connections apply to all promotions in that account within the permissions you allow. Access follows your current account membership and role. Remove the connection anytime from Account then Integrations.
No. The REST API uses API keys and is for integrations your developers build. This connection is for AI assistants working in your account through conversation. Use the API reference if you are writing code.
