## Radio station contests and winner management

Run listener contests without chasing winners. Run radio station promotions in one place. Read a code word on air, let listeners enter online, and draw winners on the record, with claim forms and alternates ready.

## Give listeners a reason to stay tuned.

Run code-word giveaways, draw winners on the record, bring a prize wheel to every remote, and find out what your audience wants to hear.

### Turn listening into entries.

Read a code word on air and let listeners enter it on your site for tickets. [Explore Sweepstakes](/sweepstakes/).

### Pick winners on the record.

Draw a winner and alternates together, then send claim forms from one list. [Explore Winner Management](/winner-management/).

### Bring a prize wheel to every remote.

Let listeners at a live broadcast play an instant win on their own phone. [Explore Instant Win](/instant-win/).

### Put listeners on your feed.

Collect listener photos from shows and events, then let your audience vote. [Explore Contests](/contests/).

### Hear what your audience wants.

Ask listeners about shows, music and events with a short survey. [Explore Surveys](/surveys/).

## Run radio station contests from entry to claimed prize.

Ticket giveaways run on deadlines. Keep the entry, the draw and the prize claim in one place so your promotions team always knows who is next.

1. **Know where entries came from.** Give your website banner and on-air URL their own tracking links.
2. **Ask for the code word.** A Passcodes field accepts today’s word and rejects anything else.
3. **Draw with backups ready.** Pick a winner and alternates together, with every draw recorded.
4. **Follow every claim.** Send claim forms, watch the three-day deadline, and promote an alternate if a winner goes quiet.

Draws are run by your team, not on a schedule, and Revup does not transfer tickets. See the step-by-step [radio ticket giveaway workflow](/blog/radio-ticket-giveaway-winner-workflow/).

## Know your listeners beyond the call-in line.

Bring entries, contest submissions and survey answers together in one listener profile. See which shows they enter from and which events bring them out. Use what listeners choose to share to plan your next promotion and your next sponsor pitch.

[Explore Revup Intelligence](/customer-intelligence/).

## Integrations

Connect promotion entries, collected fields, and consent to a supported marketing platform. Map the fields for the follow-up your team needs. [Explore integrations](/integrations/).

## Common questions

### How do radio stations run contests with Revup?

Create a giveaway for each promotion, read a code word or URL on air, and let listeners enter online. Your promotions team draws winners and alternates, sends claim forms, and tracks every prize to fulfillment.

### Can listeners enter with a code word we read on air?

Yes. Add a Passcodes field, load the day’s code word, and allow it to be used more than once so every listener can enter it. Codes are not case-sensitive, and a wrong code shows an error instead of creating an entry.

### Can we tell which entries came from the website or from on air?

Yes. Create a tracking link for each placement, such as your website banner and the URL your hosts read on air. Each participant’s profile and the participant export show the campaign source, and Analytics shows visits and participants for each link.

### Can Revup draw winners automatically on a schedule?

No. A member of your promotions team runs each draw in Revup. You can draw winners and alternates together, and Draw History keeps a record of each draw.

### What happens if a winner doesn’t claim their prize?

Send the winner a claim form from Revup. The claim deadline is three days, and you can extend it by three days at a time. If the winner doesn’t respond, mark them as no response, promote an alternate, and send the alternate a claim form. Claim reminders can be automated with a Flow.

### Can we stop recent winners from winning again?

Within a single promotion, a participant can’t be drawn twice unless you allow duplicate winners. Revup doesn’t enforce win limits across promotions or time periods, so check recent winners against your contest rules before you confirm a winner.

### Does Revup deliver or transfer the tickets?

No. The claim form collects what your team needs, such as the winner’s name, phone number and pickup preference. Your promotions team hands off the tickets and marks the prize as fulfilled in Revup.

### Can we run promotions for more than one station?

Yes. Give each station its own Revup account with its own branding, switch between stations from one login, and copy a promotion to another station when you want to reuse it.

### Can I keep using my email service provider?

Yes. Sync entries and consent to your connected marketing platform. Map the fields you collect so your team can follow up in the tools it already uses.

### What does the free trial include?

The free 7-day trial lets you explore Revup and its integrations, create unlimited promotions, and collect unlimited participants. You can access data for the first 20 entrants. SMS sending is not available during the trial. No payment method is required, and you won’t be charged automatically.
