## Product details

### One profile across every campaign

Sweepstakes entries, contest submissions, instant-win plays, purchase promotions, and standalone forms reconcile into a single account-level customer record. Each profile shows the promotions a person entered rather than producing one disconnected export per campaign.

### Identity matching on email and phone

Revup reconciles profiles on normalized email address and phone number within an account. Entries that match an existing identifier attach to that profile, and entries that do not create a new one. When an entry's email and phone point at different existing profiles, the records stay separate and a possible-match note is recorded for review instead of merging automatically.

### Promotion and repeat-participation history

Each profile lists the promotions the person entered, entry totals for each promotion, how those entries were earned, and whether the person was selected as a winner, so repeat participation is visible without opening individual campaign reports.

### Customer details and custom attributes with source context

Name, contact details, location, and answered custom fields are shown as the latest available value. Each attribute carries the promotion it was collected from and when it was last seen, so teams can judge how current an answer is.

### Unified activity timeline

Entries, bonus awards, winner selections, status changes, fraud checks, administrator actions, integration syncs, and message events appear in one chronological feed with timestamps and actors. Payment and purchase activity recorded on a promotion appears as timeline activity.

### Referral history

Profiles record how many people someone referred, who those referred participants were, which promotion each referral belonged to, and when it was recorded.

### Email and SMS delivery and engagement history

Messages sent from Revup flows are recorded on the profile with channel, the promotion and flow that triggered them, delivery outcome, opens and clicks with first and last timestamps, and the reason recorded for bounces, blocks, unsubscribes, and SMS STOP replies.

### Uploads and submitted media

Contest submissions, form file uploads, signatures, and picture-choice answers collect in one media view on the profile, each labeled with the promotion it came from and the date it was collected.

### Search, filters, imports, exports, and API access

Search by name, email, or phone, including identifiers a person previously used, and filter by date created and location. Participants can be imported from CSV with a downloadable template, individual profiles and reporting data can be exported to CSV, and participant records can be read or written through the account-scoped Revup API.

### Consent-aware integration delivery

Profiles are built from first-party data participants submit. When an entry records explicit email or SMS opt-in choices, supported integration syncs carry those choices and do not subscribe a channel the person did not consent to. Sync successes, failures, and retries are recorded on the profile timeline.

## Common use cases

### Lifecycle and retention teams

Identify people who participate in repeated campaigns, review what they previously shared, and follow up through Revup flows with message history attached to the profile.

### Growth teams

Find the participants driving referrals across promotions and confirm that new participants reached connected email and CRM platforms.

### Ecommerce teams

Connect Shopify purchase promotions to the same profiles as giveaways and forms, and review qualifying purchase activity on the profile timeline.

### Brand and community teams

Keep contest photos, videos, and stated preferences attached to the people who submitted them across multiple campaigns.

## Common questions

### How does Revup decide that two entries belong to the same person?

Revup reconciles profiles on normalized email address and phone number within an account. An entry that matches an identifier already on file attaches to that profile, and an entry that does not creates a new profile. When an entry's email points at one profile and its phone points at another, the records stay separate and a possible-match note is recorded for review. This is identity matching rather than guaranteed deduplication, so a person using a completely different email and phone creates a second profile.

### Do profiles carry history across different promotions?

Yes. Profiles are account-level rather than campaign-level. One profile lists every promotion the person entered, entry totals for each, how those entries were earned, and whether the person was selected as a winner, across sweepstakes, contests, instant win, purchase promotions, and standalone forms.

### What happens when someone answers the same custom question twice?

The profile shows the latest available value for each attribute together with the promotion it was collected from and when it was last seen, so teams can judge how current the answer is.

### Can teams see the emails and texts a person received?

Yes, for messages sent from Revup flows. Message history shows the channel, the promotion and flow that triggered the message, the delivery outcome, opens and clicks with first and last timestamps, and the reason recorded for bounces, blocks, unsubscribes, and SMS STOP replies. Messages sent from an external email platform remain in that platform.

### Which integrations can receive profile data?

Revup syncs to its supported integrations, including Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Omnisend, Constant Contact, Shopify, and Zapier. Sync successes, failures, and retries are recorded on the profile activity timeline.

### Can an existing list be imported?

Yes. Participants can be imported into a promotion from a CSV file using a downloadable template covering contact fields, starting entries, and entry source. Imported participants go through the same email and phone matching as public entries. Participants can also be created through the Revup API.

### Can the data be exported?

Yes. Individual profiles can be exported to CSV, participant and reporting data can be exported from promotions, and participant records can be read or written through the Revup API using an account-scoped API key.

### Does syncing respect the consent captured at entry?

Yes. Profiles are built from first-party data participants submit. When an entry records explicit email or SMS opt-in choices, supported integration syncs carry those choices and do not subscribe a channel the person did not consent to. Unsubscribes and SMS STOP replies are recorded on the profile.
